A mediados de año, la revista Spin publicó los 20 mejores discos de lo que iba del 2009. Ahora, ya corriendo el mes 12 de este año, su sitio web sacó su lista completa, con 40 títulos que según sus expertos fue lo más rescatable, y recomendable, del año.
Como en el anterior listado, y otros que les he publicado, se repiten los multi elogiados discos de los Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Jarvis Cocker y Florence and The Machine. Igualmente, aparecieron los discos debut de nuevos proyectos como el de Them Crooked Vultures y el afamado The Dead Weather.
